Being a sports fan, I follow all the major sports: basketball, baseball and football. As a New Yorker, I am especially proud of the Mets. Although I also follow other sports like boxing and mix martial arts, baseball is just so different, it brings out the best and the worst specially among New Yorkers. I spend most of my nights in my favorite Mets jersey watching sports on TV. I have worn all my Mets jerseys on my weekend visits to Central park. I run into some Mets fans as well as some Yankee fans.

The Mets always played the second fiddle in New York. Even if the Mets won the subway series, more people still root for the Yankees. Even a tourist, who knows nothing about baseball, would visit the Yankee stadium instead of the Shay stadium. I won’t even be surprised if the Yankee jerseys cost more than the Mets jerseys. I’ll always be a Mets fan, no matter how many Yankee fans there are out there. I think the Mets will win a series soon.
